My very first review is about the primer i use. I got it from walmart which is certainly not available in Pakistan but i thought it could be helpful for all of them who are looking forward to buying it or have already gotten hold of it. So here it goes,
What is it? A silicone based face primer actually but can be used individually as an eyeshadow primer.
Product Description from the manufacture: A light weight formula that enhances the skins texture and primes the skin for makeup application.
What does it do? It fills in the lines, pores, and prepares your skin for foundation application.
Who is it for? If you are a foundation person, you should definitely not skip applying a primer.
How is it used? / How does it work?
A very small amount is needed to cover the whole face. BUT the very important thing is to shake it well. give it a good shake and you will have the best results. If you fail to do so or forget shaking the product layers and will not give a good effect instead make you a bit oily (as i am an oily person).
How does it smell? It has an extremely distant smell.
How does it feel? Well, when you look at the particles it definitely looks gritty. BUT BUT BUT!!! once it comes into contact with your skin, it smooths over like a dream. ( The best-est thing about this primer)
How well does it open? Easy to open. A flip cover. But the product may clump at the top as you can see. you can count it as a con, but its no big deal.
How is the packaging? Very convenient.
How big is it?1.6oz. It can fit into my hand.
Does it work for you? Oh yeah!!! Very very well.
What skin type works best with it? It best suits the combination skin. as oily skinned people have to be a little cautious because a slight larger amount will make you oily.
Why would i use it ?
Silky matte dry down powder like finish.
Would you recommend it? YES YES YES!!!
